On June 17, Savvy Records and Fun in the Murky's Bleep Radio cordially invite you into an alternate dimension of supersonic sound, instantly gratifying metaphysical minimal and deeper micro-house music.
Multimedia artist Kyle Yip also known as Discrete, is a Toronto based DJ, producer and label owner of Savvy Records. He is known not only for his Juno Award Nominated full-length album, but also his remixes for international artists such as Brabe, Society of Silence and many more. He is also perfecting his second album, the sophomore follow up to 'The Midas Touch'.
Bleep Radio's 'Fun in the Murky' began in 2004, when Trevor Wilkes was invited to be the first live-streamer on the www.livesets.com platform. From there he developed the FitM brand, the goal being to simply spread awareness of underground music. After a decade of regular live-streams and sharing music came the FitM record label which kicked off in 2014. It's a real treat to have him as our guest from Hamilton.
DJ Sharon Apple aka Phillipe Melanson is better known as the electronic drummer from the emerging chillwave-pop group, Bernice. The band has had much success with regular performances at The AGO, and ambitious tours all over The States and Europe. Fan's of Deroy Edwards and Anthony Naples will surely enjoy this special set from Phil.
Local underground DJ, NTMG will be warming things up with his bassy basement beats to get your booty movin', guaranteed.
Once the crowd is all hot and bothered things get weird with Beach Jerky. Resident at Baltimore House and their weekly Night Drive parties, this DJ-producer knows what he's doing. You can expect homemade house and techno music, unfinished ideas and more dirty laundry.
And finally, yours truly, DJ Discrete; the last boss. Celebrating his new release on Savvy Records, this self-made man will remind you why we go out at night with his feature-length set. Molecular micro-house, galactic electronic, deeper house, secret battle weapons, and future releases on Savvy by himself and the entire cast, are only a few of many spells this ole witch has in his inventory.
Finish off your summer with a bang, literally. There will be lots of swear words, huge tits, celebrity look-alikes, celebrities, Kamehameha's, free honey, et cetera...
